The XHV is a rapid, high volume ethylene scrubber, ideal for produce and floral wholesalers with large coolers. Each XHV unit scrubs 280 cubic feet of air per minute; equivalent to one complete air change every 18 minutes in a 5000 cubic foot cooler. The XHV circulates contaminated air through a filter containing 25 pounds of FLORAL GUARD™ ethylene filtering media. Together, the blower and filter are capable of removing all the ethylene gas generated by 2000 pounds of produce or cut flowers, plus any typical amounts of ethylene gas that may invade the cooler through normal daily usage, for a full 30 days . Cooler cleanliness, gaseous emissions from delivery trucks, produce ripening equipment, propane fork truck fumes, as well as the daily volume of ethylene generating produce or cut flowers will all effect the life of the filter media. A built in color indicator lets you determine when its time to change out the ethylene filtering media. |
